Jungle Kava is a Polynesian woman-owned candy company rooted in a culture where kava, food, family, and gathering have always gone together.
A love of sweets eventually turned into curiosity about what else kava could become. What started as experiments in a Utah kitchen—baked treats, candies, different flavors, and plenty of family and friends acting as taste-testers—eventually grew into Jungle Kava.
Today, we’re still experimenting. The goal is simple: make kava more approachable, flavorful, and fun while keeping connection at the center.

What is kava?
Kava is a plant native to the Pacific. Its roots have traditionally been prepared as a beverage and shared socially across many Pacific communities. Jungle Kava puts kava into familiar candy formats for a different way to experience it.
What does kava taste like?
Traditional kava is known for an earthy, peppery, sometimes bitter taste. Jungle Kava pairs it with candy flavors to make the experience more approachable, while some kava character can still come through.
